    The Role:


    We have a newly created opportunity for a Quality Process Improvement Manager to join our Design and Manufacturing teams who are responsible for the processes from first sketch through to manufacturing.


    This role involves working on improving the current processes and reporting to deliver efficiencies across our global organisation. You will work closely with other departments and external consultants to deliver on business initiatives.


    To be successful in this challenging and fast paced role will require a highly organised and motivated individual with a thorough understanding of the product development lifecycle (PLM) processes.


    We are looking for an analytical and process driven individual who has been exposed to process improvement and can deliver on time to internal customers meeting company deadlines. This high impact role requires someone who is results driven and detail orientated who will approach each day with enthusiasm.

    Responsibilities

    What We Expect:

    • Evaluate current procedures and workflows to ensure processing and enhance efficiency of all areas of accountability
    • Become the global champion of all processes from first sketch through to manufacturing
    • A strong technical and people leader to engage and motivate the team
    • Ability to lead and thrive in a fast paced, high growth environment where agility and leading decision validation activities is a requirement
    • Build relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers to manage expectations and improve operational efficiencies
    • Keen ability to ensure projects are on track for completion and are able to flag risks and anticipate needs in a proactive manner
    • Provide monthly reporting to leadership regarding the status of business improvement initiatives
    • Identify areas of efficiency gains, scope potential solutions, and work with various partners to drive process improvement projects through to completion

    Qualifications

    What We Are Looking For: 

    • Strong experience working in Manufacturing environments
    • Prior supervisory and strong project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and aligning multiple stakeholders to achieve business goals
    • Extensive experience in leading process improvement initiatives
    • The ability to self-manage with strong time management skills to meet tight deadlines
    • Be procedure and process orientated with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
    • Track record in working with Product Lifecyle Management systems would be advantageous
    • Lean Six Sigma or similar discipline would be highly desirable
    • Be highly proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills
