We are seeking an innovative and passionate retail operations leader for a newly created role that will impact future growth with our retailers.  This position will empower you to play a unique strategic and pivotal role and establish retail operational excellence as a core competency in the organization. You will develop tactics, present recommendations and implement compliance, reporting, and programs that will enhance store operational effectiveness and give Essense Designs a distinct competitive advantage in the Bridal industry.  You will drive ground-breaking change at a global organization as you leverage your talent and experience developing innovative processes and tools to drive exceptional success.

We will be counting on you to be a retail subject matter expert as you create a clear operations focus to lead an innovative evolution in our store experience.  This role will be responsible for building and leading a world-class team that will ensure excellence and consistency across the organization.  In this critical role, the qualified individual will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of standards, leveraging data and Business Intelligence (BI) tools for actionable, transparent reporting and will focus on delivering consistency in the bridal customer experience through our store partners.

You will contribute thought leadership and subject-matter expertise as you create a clear strategy.  You will be counted upon to continuously move the business forward with innovative thinking and the ability to operationalize complex processes and lead teams to quickly capitalize on opportunities.  You will fuel our organization in elevating our talent to become world-class experts in supporting global retail operations.


Your expertise and experience should include:


  • Senior level experience in high-end multi-unit / multi-channel retail organizations; diverse retail structure experience including license, company-owned and/or partnerships, as this position will support our 1500+ stores. International experience strongly preferred.
  • A record of success in a high-growth cycle in an entrepreneurial environment; must have experience leading successful, multi-faceted teams.
  • Proficient in data-based decision making and ability to leverage BI tools to create actionable reporting; must be tech savvy, learn new tools and systems quickly.
  • Experienced in process improvement including Lean concepts and skilled in leading through organization (Six Sigma, Kaizen type models).
  • Strong project management skills, and the ability to create accountability and deliver results to plan.
  • Ability to lead strategic planning and execution and understand the latest trends in the bridal industry.
  • A vibrant leadership style that is adaptable, courageous and reflective of high emotional intelligence.
  • Driven to exceed expectations, delight customers, engage associates and create exceptional retail experiences.
