Administration Manager (Product Development)

The Role

Based in our Perth office, you will work closely with our global designers, international sampling department, and offshore manufacturing suppliers. With the support of the Director of Design Administration and Planning, you will lead the Design Administration team in the development of samples to seasonal timelines. 

Responsibilities will include: 

  • Lead the toile and first sample development process including:
         - liaising with designers and factories regarding product development
         - review sample BOM to ensure workability for factory
         - track sample progress for any fabric/lace delays, and work to solve any issues
  • Foster and maintain productive working relationships with offshore suppliers and our USA Design Development team
  • Report to the leadership team on timelines, samples, projects, and priorities
  • Ensure quality standards are maintained across all stages of garment development 
  • Support team development and foster an environment of continuous improvement 


What We Are Looking For: 

A highly motivated individual with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership who strives to get the job done right the first time. You will relish the challenge of having multiple projects on the go, know how to manage priorities, shine under pressure, and support others to do the same.  

To be a successful candidate, you will have: 

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in leading a high performing team, and;
  • Minimum 5 years of previous experience in product development with a demonstrated understanding of garment development and the sampling process
  • Relevant qualifications in fashion, design, textiles, or relevant experience 
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to rapidly build rapport to motivate team members, drive performance outcomes and manage departmental projects and timelines
  • A proven ability to clearly document processes for communication and training 
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organsation skills 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
