About the Job:


We’re hiring an experienced Digital Ads Manager to head up strategy, execution, and reporting for our international digital ad channels for both our retail and wholesale businesses.


While we currently run all digital ads internally - rapid growth and aggressive future plans demand that we bring in more experience and resources to dedicate to these channels. So, while this exact position is new to the company, the work is not.

This position will be part of the Marketing Technology Department, will report to the Associate Director of Digital Marketing, and will have one direct report to start. This position will work closely with our SEO, Social Media, Communications, Retail Ops, and Web Ops teams.

We have multiple web properties, both retail and wholesale, that require different strategies and execution. Understanding how to run a Country specific wholesale campaign is just as important as being able to produce a killer retail campaign that targets specific local regions - with completely different conversion metrics.

We are looking for someone who is creative, daring, and always looking to what’s next - while still having the ability to push the limits of what is now. Someone who knows how to turn the dial up, but also when to just turn it off and move on to the next dial.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has been working in an agency and is ready to move to the brand side so they can really focus on making a long-term difference in an organization. Someone already on the brand side, but limited by the organization’s product offering, or willingness to push boundaries and try new things. Someone who has a strong vision of what a great digital ads team looks like and is ready to assemble it.


About You:

We are looking for someone who has done this work before and is interested in the challenge of building and leading a digital ads team focused on international customers across both wholesale and retail businesses. While a broad understanding and experience in other marketing channels is considered a plus - we’re looking for someone who has been focused solely on digital ads for the last 5+ years. This is not the job for a “jack of all trades” or someone who is ready to start specializing in digital ads. This is for someone who has been living in this specific world for a while. We don’t anticipate needing to get you up to speed on anything but the specifics of our industry.

Initially the work will be very hands on as you work with the Associate Director of Digital Marketing to understand the unique business that is the bridal industry, what we’ve been doing, and what we think we’re doing next. From there we're looking for someone to expand our capabilities and reach through strategy, processes, execution, reporting, and growing a strong team to execute further on an expanded vision.

Since you will be working with every other Marketing team to support different initiatives - partnership and collaboration, not rigidness, will be needed to build strong relationships across the business.

Your ability to communicate with everyone in the company, from VPs to Coordinators will be imperative to your success. You need to be a good writer and storyteller. You need to be able to build dashboards and reports that make sense to the audience. You need to be able to explain complicated strategies in an easy to digest way to non-technical people. You need to be comfortable presenting to large groups when needed.

While our product is very emotional, our marketing strategies are driven by data. You’ll need to be very comfortable working with data and have a strong understanding of digital analytics, A/B testing strategies, and dashboard building. We’re not looking for someone who’s strength is the creative or graphic design side of ads, as we have in-house creative and content teams. We’re looking for the data driven strategist.


What You’ll Do


  • Develop strategy and execute campaigns by creating, managing, and optimizing digital ad content in paid search, paid social, and other relevant ad placements.
  • Execute tests, collect, and analyze data, identify trends and insights to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns.
  • Serve as a creative, analytical mind to provide strategic recommendations for developing and improving marketing initiatives and digital ad performance.
  • Manage day-to-day monitoring, analysis and reporting of key content and campaign topics and business priorities globally across paid digital channels.
  • Provide internal and external cross-functional teams with rich insights that best inform digital ad creation and optimization.
  • Collaborate with internal creative and content teams to create high-quality content that represents the brand or collection’s tone and utilizes paid ads best practices.
  • Work with your team to brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of our customers, the buyer's journey, the competition and market through research and analytics
  • Become an expert in the bridal industry and provide strategies to offer data and insights that align to goals and objectives


What We Are Looking For:

  • The right culture fit is critical. Must be relationship-focused, agile, and a great communicator.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of paid media strategy, execution, and reporting.
  • Must have experience managing a team.
  • Expert in Google Ads and Facebook Ads Manager.
  • Proven Experience running successful ad campaigns on Google, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest
  • Proficient with website tracking and reporting, including Google Analytics, Google DataStudio and Google Tag Manager
  • Exposure to both global brand campaigns and targeted local retailer campaigns.


What Makes You Stand Out:


Experience in the following areas is a plus and will make your application more strongly considered but not required:

  • Previous DSP experience is a plus
  • Exposure to shopping and ecommerce tactics
  • Basic exposure to javascript and experience automating ad tasks and workflows using Google Ads scripting engine
