Due to ongoing growth and emerging opportunities, we are seeking to expand our team and are hiring a Business Development Executive to join our global team. Business Development Executives work directly with our incredible U.S. bridal shop owners and their staff. This person will focus on servicing our existing clients while also building new business through prospecting for new wholesale bridal accounts.

In this role, you will be based out of our Lenexa, KS office and travel within your assigned US territory, working directly with sales leadership to develop business opportunities and continue to grow sales. You will interact directly with existing and prospective clients (bridal stores) to build solid business relationships during in-store visits, trunk shows, and industry-relevant events.

 

You will be responsible for conducting in-store product knowledge training, business consulting, and events to show our designer bridal gown collections to bridal store owners, and bridal stylists to expand our sales with existing clients. This role also requires time (typically on weekends), in-store to showcase new designs to brides directly, acting as a role model for best practices, and supporting upscale experiences for brides.

 

Additionally, you will be responsible for researching business opportunities and collaboratively working to establish new client relationships to introduce our house of brands to new bridal stores.

The successful applicant will have a track record of sales success, be self-motivated, a strong communicator, and be able to effectively prioritize their workload.   • This position is based out of our Lenexa, Kansas headquarters and will require being on-site based on business needs.
  • Minimum of 5 years prior experience in Business-to-Business sales – preferably in fashion or luxury product related organizations – (wholesale B2B or retail sales preferred).
  • Confidence and ability to travel extensively (approximately 84 days per year including weekends) to develop territory, attend company events, host trunk shows and facilitate store training activities
  • Proven ability to establish and execute an approved new business development and sales plan.
  • Highly organized with impeccable attention to detail and ability to manage projects with defined deadlines.
  • Ability to research territory and business opportunities to establish new client relationships.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Willingness to work in the True Society Belle Vogue retail stores to successfully complete the Bridal Stylist and product knowledge competency standards required to qualify for the Business Development Executive role.  In-Store training timeframe will be up to 6 months to complete, dependent on performance and experience.
