The Digital Marketing Intern supports the digital and development teams to implement collection launches, execute on new Web site projects, and manage Web content. The Digital Marketing Intern assists the team with projects from Web-site content management, analytics implementation, and process creation through maintenance, reporting and analytics, and Web site QA.

 

The person in this role should understanding of user engagement and Web site experiences and how to weave elements together across digital properties for a consistently excellent experience. The role is highly collaborative with both the Digital Marketing and Digital Development Operations teams to collect data-backed insights and transform them into strategic website initiatives and digital campaigns for both our wholesale and retail brands.

 

This is a full-time paid onsite internship with the reporting location based out of Lenexa, KS.

Responsibilities

  • Work with appropriate internal and external teams to manage digital content creation such as product copy, photography, graphics, and video.
  • Coordination, entry, and publishing of new content to all sites through web CMS.
  • Coordinate and execute content updates on internal web portal.
  • Coordinate, upload, and maintain images on Asset Manager.
  • Stage and publish content across three company blogs, including SEO content review.
  • Participate in discovery of continued learning and education across team on website and digital best practices, including UX and accessibility, to ensure all websites are above industry standard and remain best-in-class.
  • Regularly audit site content across each property to confirm all information is correct, up-to-date, and thorough.
  • Assist with preparing YouTube videos including providing SEO keyword guidance, tagging, and uploading videos to brand channels.
  • Perform competitive audits across industry to discover key learnings and present across teams to inform website and campaign strategy.
  • Assist Web Product Specialists with building QA plans for new web development and execute on both user and feature website testing.
  • Organize and collect feedback on web functionality to manage QA process and continuously improve web properties.
  • Research and propose new QA methods to ensure efficiency and accuracy in all website testing.
  • Review site regularly on various browser and device types; report bugs and opportunities.
  • Implement website tags for event tracking using Google Tag Manager.
  • Review site and user data, and provide actionable recommendations based on insights generated from analysis of websites and various digital campaigns.
  • Implement Google Analytics tagging and campaign tracking on brand sites.
  • Work with team to execute quantitative and qualitative A/B testing on the site to improve user experience and increase marketing efficiencies

Qualifications

  • Current Student or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or similar field.
  • Data driven. Demonstrated analytical skills. Ability to spot errors and inconsistencies in data and analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills. It’s not enough to have the right answer, you need to be able to effectively communicate your strategies and work well with others.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace with a sense of hustle while remaining detail-oriented.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and reporting dashboards is highly desired.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with Wordpress CMS and basic HTML highly preferred.
  • Ability to set goals and prioritize between a multitude of tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team-focused with ability to work autonomously as needed.
  • Ability to thrive in a challenging, dynamic environment where multi-tasking and adaptability are a requirement.
  • Procedure and process oriented with the ability to work within departmental projects and timelines.
