For over 25 years, Essense of Australia has led the way in bridal fashion as a dynamic, international bridal wholesaler and retailer with key offices in Lenexa, Kansas (U.S.), Perth, Australia, and Zug, Switzerland. Our reach extends across the globe, also operating in the United Kingdom, Europe, Canada, New Zealand, and beyond. With nearly 1,000 stores carrying our exquisite designs, we are one of the most trusted and innovative brands in bridal fashion today. At Essense, every gown we create is crafted with passion, and every partnership we forge is built on trust. We are more than just a global bridal brand—we are an experience, woven into wedding celebrations around the world.

The Role:

The Content and Production Specialist role (internally titled Content Creator) combines the structural and organizational responsibilities of digital asset (Content) management with the creative requirements needed for making and retouching photographic content. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the infrastructure and day-to-day operations of our Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, as well as supporting creative development through content ideation, shooting still imagery, and editing photos to maintain visual consistency across each brand.  As a Content Creator, a key responsibility would be Still Photography and retouching for large, high-production seasonal campaigns and collection launches.  Images produced within the Content Creator role are not trend-driven quick shoots intended for daily consumption via social media.

This position will work cross-functionally with teams across the business—including Content Production, Product Operations, Creative, Social Media, Communications and Marketing Technologies — to manage the lifecycle of assets, drive efficient usage of content, and contribute to the creation of engaging visual materials that define and differentiate each brand.

  • Support multiple teams in developing visual assets across digital and social channels
  • Contribute to the brainstorming and development of supplementary visual assets, as well as assisting in the ideation of other creative elements for photoshoots
  • Research, share, and test new/developing technology in the areas of Photography and general content creation
