The Opportunity: Make an Impact

You don’t just understand sales and retail – you live it! We’re looking for a dynamic Director of Human Resources – Global Sales to help shape the future of our retail and wholesale sales organizations across the U.S., Europe and Australia. You’ll have a front-row seat to all the action, serving as an integral team member alongside our regional HR leaders and global sales and retail leaders to spot exceptional talent, develop high-performing teams and foster a culture where results thrive. Responsibilities

What You will Do:

  • Function as a dedicated HR business partner for global sales, partnering with senior retail and wholesale leaders to drive talent strategies and performance.
  • Lead global retail workforce planning, working closely with regional HR leaders in areas of talent acquisition and succession planning initiatives, ensuring alignment of processes and procedures across all global locations.
  • Personally manage critical sales hiring efforts for key markets and leadership roles.
  • Design and implement onboarding, training, and performance management frameworks that hold teams accountable to KPIs and business results.
  • In partnership with regional HR teams, ensure consistent HR practices and compliance with both internal processes and employment laws across all global locations.
  • Collaborate closely with global HR stakeholders to align policies, systems, and tools for a unified employee experience.
  • Advise on compensation and incentive strategies to align with KPI’s and drive performance, tailored to sales functions across retail and wholesale.
  • Support systems alignment (HRIS, scheduling, appointment management) and participate in vendor evaluations to represent the needs of the global retail organization.

Qualifications

Who You Are:

  • A confident and collaborative HR leader with 10+ years of progressive experience in retail or other types of sales-driven environments.
  • A strategic thinker who is also hands-on—comfortable leading initiatives and personally recruiting key sales talent.
  • Highly knowledgeable in global HR practices, with experience developing procedures and policies and ensuring process consistency and compliance across multiple countries and regions.
  • Experienced in driving consistency and scalability in HR processes across geographically dispersed teams.
  • Strong in performance management, coaching, and organizational development.
  • Adept at aligning people strategies with sales goals, team culture, and customer experience.
  • Customer service driven with professional presence and demeanor.  Ability to interface effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and professional maturity.  Ability to represent the Company to candidates, vendors, and other outside entities consistent with brand image and standards.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including exceptional written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to consult on talent planning and organizational design strategies.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and familiarity with HRIS systems. 
  • SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or similar certification a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required.
