Responsibilities

The Role

Every bridal gown tells a story, and behind each one is a team that keeps everything running smoothly. If you’re hands-on, flexible, and enjoy being the person others count on, we want to meet you.

As the Facilities & Warehouse Associate, you’ll join the Warehouse team and split your time between warehouse operations, (picking, packing, shipping and receiving) facilities, and internal-team support across our warehouse and corporate office. You’ll also support interdepartmental projects and other ad hoc projects as requested such as supporting events, including set-up, tear-down and logistics. The warehouse is your home base, with regular trips between the warehouse and office throughout the week as the work requires.

What You’ll Do

  • Unload boxes and stock inbound shipments
  • Pick, pack and ship outbound orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Sort and pull stock by style number, and place gowns on rolling racks, positioning racks throughout the warehouse
  • Assist with inventory management, including scanning items for stocktake
  • Serve as the point person for daily facilities needs at the warehouse
  • Complete small facilities and maintenance jobs at the office and warehouse, such as patching holes, painting, assembling and moving furniture and equipment, and other minor repairs
  • Cover for the Facilities and Office Coordinator during time out of the office, including day-to-day office and kitchen upkeep, supply checks and facility requests
  • Submit building maintenance requests and work with vendors and the landlord on larger repairs, escalating to management as needed
  • Be the go-to resource for miscellaneous job requests from internal teams
  • Support events, including set-up, tear-down and logistics
  • Support interdepartmental projects and other ad hoc projects as requested

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in business or a related field preferred
  • 2–3 years of experience in a warehouse, order fulfillment or shipping/receiving environment; apparel wholesale/retail distribution or order fulfillment experience is helpful
  • Experience in facilities, general maintenance, event set-up or a similar hands-on role strongly preferred
  • Basic hands-on facilities skills (e.g., patching and painting, assembling and moving furniture or fixtures, common hand and power tools) with a safety-first approach
  • Experience with inventory tracking, scanning and receiving software preferred; experience with a task or project management tool preferred; working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization and accuracy
  • Self-motivated and solution focused, with good judgment and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professional, friendly and service-minded, with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build good relationships with internal teams and vendors
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities, multi-task and adapt to change in a fast-paced, growing environment
  • Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to regularly lift 35–60 pounds, work on your feet for most of the day, squat, bend, kneel, climb and stand on ladders, and frequently push and pull rolling racks
  • Flexibility to work overtime and to occasionally assist with events or tasks outside of standard work hours
